The Calvin A King & Jean C King Charitable Foundation recently donated $50,000 to Voices for Children of North Central Florida to support our mission statement. Pictured are Kate Strohl, who is a board member of the foundation, Sue Carpenter of Voices for Children and Ronald Strohl who is President of the foundation. Mr & Mrs Strohl were instrumental in providing information to the foundation regarding Voices and recommended we receive this donation. To the foundation, and in particular the Strohls we say a heartfelt thank you.
Providing support to our children for more than 30 years, Voices For Children is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) whose mission is to help provide for the unmet needs of abused, neglected, abandoned, vulnerable or otherwise disadvantaged children in Citrus, Hernando, Lake, Marion and Sumter Counties.
